What is a thesis statement? It's a statement that presents your research topic and the framework for how you think about your research. Your thesis statement will guide your work towards completing your thesis or dissertation.
What is this site? Eventually you're going to have to defend your thesis. So exactly how confident are you?
IsMyThesisHotOrNot.com lets you test it out, or comment on other thesis statements completely anonymously. The idea for this site came from an article on the ProfHacker Blog. Check them out!

HOT by Anonymous at May 18, 2010, 6:57 am cool ,provocative, i'd definitely read further.
NOT by Anonymous at May 22, 2010, 10:14 am Expand a little in your thesis: maybe give a list of the points you'll be discussing in your paper. It's definitely arguable, but this seems like just a brainstorming thesis, and not something you would want as your thesis in an actual paper. You're getting there!
NOT by Anonymous at May 27, 2010, 8:23 pm DEFINITELY interesting, but seems more political/psychological than a designed intervention
